Pretty white slip pottery jar by Hopi artist Joy Navasie, Frog Woman., 1919-2012.
Hand built with coils of native clay, burnished white slip, mineral and vegetal colors, pit fired.
The graceful jar stands 5" tall by 5 1/4", one tiny chip on the rim, barely visible.
Very nice paint condition, no fired clouds.
Circa 1980-90s.
